Our Funeral Directors & Staff

Staff members of Noblin Funeral Service are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of local individuals.

Robert Noblin, Owner/Licensed Funeral Director

Robert C. Noblin, Jr. is 42 years old and originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia. He has been serving the needs of others in funeral service since high school. He purchased Riverside Funeral Home in June of 2005, and immediately found a niche with his musical talent in Belen. Robert began playing piano at age 4, and his talent is used largely in church. He has played and will continue to play for many local churches. Robert is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Belen. He is graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service in Atlanta, GA. Robert enjoys playing the piano, karaoke, and being involved in the Valencia County community.  He has also served on the Development Board of the University of New Mexico Valencia Campus as well as both the Belen Chamber of Commerce board and the Los Lunas Chamber of Commerce board.  He earned his Certified Funeral Service Practitioner designation in 2017 and was also elected as President of the New Mexico Funeral Service Association in 2019.

He has a strong belief in providing honest service at a price comfortable to all and in 2011 made the decision to expand Noblin Funeral Service to include a convenient Los Lunas location.  In 2013, he began the process of installing an on-site crematory at the Belen location in order to provide "complete cremation care" to the families he serves.

Samuel and Nadia Moya

Samuel C. Moya is a life-long resident of Belen, NM. He is the son of Genaro & Sandra Moya. He is a graduate of Belen High School, class of 2006. After graduation he joined the Naval Reserves and attended boot camp and Corps School in Great Lakes, IL. Sam and his wife, Nadia have 3 children, Brooke, Brianna and Samuel Brian. He holds his intern licenses in Preparation and Embalming and in Arranging and Directing. Samuel has a natural knack for understanding a family’s need at a most difficult time. “I feel proud that when a family entrusts their loved one to us, that I will be there for them”.

L.B. Tarry, Funeral Associate

L.B. and Pat Tarry have been residents of Belen since October of 1956. She is an organist, having played for the First Baptist Church for many years, and currently plays the organ at the First Baptist Church of Los Chavez, where they are members. L.B. retired as a locomotive engineer with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad.

L.B. is a Funeral Associate and has been employed with the funeral home since 2006.

L.B. and Pat have two children, Travis Lee Tarry and Linda Tarry Brasier.

Their dedication to people make them a tremendous asset to the staff at Noblin Funeral Service.

Rosario Torres

Noblin Funeral Service is pleased to employ Rosario Torres of Belen. Rosario is responsible for the cleanliness of the buildings and vehicles. Her dedication to Noblin Funeral Service is greatly appreciated and we are constantly complimented on the appearance of our facilities, flowers and the cleanliness of our funeral home.

Karlie , Future Funeral Director

Our little Second Grader holds a yellow belt in Karate. Even though just in Elementary school, Karlie has already expressed a strong desire to be a funeral director.
